Blender 2.9 Curves

In this tutorial, I want to show you how to get started with Blender 2.9, and the curve objects.  Once you know how to add and modify curves, you can change the properties and start making great models with them.

As you practice and play with curves, you will become really proficient with your abilities to create the best designs, and move on to create great 3d prints.

  1. Hi Peter,

I have been searching online for a way to add additional vertices to a curve in blender so I can have more localized control of the curve. Do you know if there is any curve modifier that can do this? I ask because I am trying to create a design that uses a delicate/open 4 strand Celtic weave motif within a marquise-shaped frame. I was wondering if you could either show how to model the weave part or show how to add additional vertices to a curve/manipulate parts of the curve without affect the rest of it.

    Thank you and take care,

    John McDonnell
